It takes a village to reduce emissions while growing the economy; that’s where NCEW’s Participating Organizations come in. Participating Organizations represent a broad collection of private companies and advocacy organizations who support NCEW’s overarching mission to celebrate the policies, industries, and innovations that power our daily lives while producing no or very little greenhouse gas emissions.
America’s private and nonprofit sectors are what makes our country great. Your commitment to sustainability and reducing emissions while driving our innovation economy forward is why we recognize National Clean Energy Week. This is why it is so important that NCEW in turn celebrates your organizations, your commitments and your achievements.
We invite you to become an official NCEW Participating Organization by sharing our commitment to a clean energy future. We’d also love to highlight an example or two of how you’re bringing that to life. Previous POs have organized community clean energy events, highlighted local Greentech startups, organized a public tour of renewable energy facilities, hosted employee lunch and learns with local clean energy experts, shared materials company-wide and with local press about NCEW and the organization’s clean energy commitments, technologies, investments, and programs. Some have simply linked to nationalcleanenergyweek.org in a newsletter. There’s no “wrong” way to be a Participating Organization.
Becoming a Participating Organization comes at no cost to your organization and gives you access to promotional material and visibility alongside the more than 150 organizations!
