Indiana Governor Holcomb Recognizes Clean Energy Week
September 25, 2019 — Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb has issued a state proclamation recognizing September 23-27, 2019 as Clean Energy Week in his home state.
In the proclamation, Gov. Holcomb notes that the “clean energy sector is a growing part of the economy and has been a key driver of economic growth in Indiana in recent years, with over 86,000 clean energy jobs in the Hoosier State.”
Indiana is now one of 28 states plus Washington, D.C., to formally recognize National Clean Energy Week 2019.

To All To Whom These Presents May Come, Greetings:
WHEREAS, across Indiana, clean and readily abundant forms of energy are powering more homes and businesses than ever before; and
WHEREAS, clean energy is part of America’s energy future; and
WHEREAS, the clean energy sector is a growing part of the economy and has been a key driver of economic growth in Indiana in recent years, with over 86,000 clean energy jobs in the Hoosier State; and
WHEREAS, we must harness the power of Indiana entrepreneurs and small businesses to ensure government collaboration to assert American energy leadership and dominance in the global marketplace and assure low-cost reliable energy here at home;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Eric J. Holcomb, Governor of the State of Indiana, do hereby proclaim September 23-27, 2019, as CLEAN ENERGY WEEK.
