WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Thursday, September 26, National Clean Energy Week (NCEW) will host the third annual Policy Makers Symposium. The event, which will be held at the National Press Club, will bring together high-profile elected leaders, senior Trump Administration officials, industry associations, businesses, non-profits, and advocates for a discussion around commonsense solutions that directly address America’s need for abundant, reliable forms of energy. NCEW’s Policy Makers Symposium serves as the centerpiece of week-long activity in Washington, D.C. The program will include lawmakers, leaders in government and clean energy advocates, including Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Chairman Neil Chatterjee, Senator Mitt Romney, Senator Tammy Duckworth, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, Senator Mike Braun, Rep. Matt Gaetz, Rep. Garret Graves, Rep. Paul Tonko, Rep. Scott Peters and Senior Advisor in the Office of Nuclear Energy Suzie Jaworowski.
The symposium will also include panel discussions with participants representing NCEW Sponsors and Steering Committee members that will expand on how to advance support of our nation’s energy sector through new methods of market development, policy change, and technological innovation.
