August 29, 2019 — North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum has issued a state proclamation recognizing September 23-27, 2019 as Clean Energy Week in his home state.
In his proclamation, Gov. Burgum notes that the State of North Dakota “is a significant contributor to our nation’s energy security,” and that it “supports the development of a strong in-state renewable energy manufacturing sector to further diversify our economy.”
North Dakota is now the sixth state in the country to formally recognize National Clean Energy Week 2019. Recently, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam, New Hampshire Governor Christopher Sununu, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey and Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt signed proclamations supporting NCEW in their home states.
