As General Counsel, Gene is the chief in-house legal officer for ACP and oversees the association’s legal functions related to governmental affairs. He has well over a decade of experience in the renewable energy industry. Prior to working at ACP, Gene was the General Counsel for the American Wind Energy Industry and worked in various legal positions at the federal government, private practice, and environmental organizations. Gene represents ACP in litigation, regulatory, and legislative matters of a legal nature, focusing on the following areas, among others: energy (markets and transmission), environmental (climate and wildlife), international trade, and project development (siting and permitting). He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
