Jessica Olson is Head of Global Affairs, Americas and Indo-Pacific for Topsoe, a leading global provider of advanced energy technology and solutions for the energy transition. Built on decades of scientific research and innovation, Topsoe works with customers and partners to drive energy resiliency and to achieve their sustainability goals. She has previously served as vice president, policy, and as an officer of the executive team, at a global non-profit where she led advocacy efforts to shape federal and state policies supporting the clean transportation sector. Prior to that, Olson was director of environmental policy for a Fortune 100 multi-national conglomerate with an energy solutions business. Previously, Olson was a partner at law firm in Washington, D.C., where her practice focused on energy policy. Olson holds a B.A. in Science, Technology and Society, with a focus in Environmental Studies from Vassar College and a J.D. from Vermont Law School. She is currently a member of the executive committee of the board of the Vermont Law and Graduate School. Olson has previously co-chaired the Air Quality Committee of the DC Bar Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources Community and was a 2017 finalist for the MIT C3E Women in Clean Energy Award in the Law and Finance category. Olson is from Arlington, Virginia where she has served as an appointed member of the Fiscal Affairs Advisory Commission and lives with her husband and two children.
