Lindsay Fitzgerald currently serves as the Chief Advocacy and Communications Officer at Gevo, a company focused on cost-effective fuels and chemicals from renewable resources. She leads a global team whose mission is to develop and promote policies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Lindsay also helps expand innovative, market-based low-carbon fuel standards as the Chair of the Low Carbon Fuels Coalition. Prior to joining Gevo, Lindsay served as Director of Government Affairs at Renewable Energy Group, a leading biodiesel and renewable diesel provider, where she developed and implemented a comprehensive strategy for local, state, federal, and international governments. She also served as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at what is now the Clean Fuels Alliance America. Lindsay began her career implementing the Renewable Fuel Standard at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
