NEW: Washington D.C. Events Announced for National Clean Energy Week 2022
The organizers of the sixth annual National Clean Energy Week (NCEW) have announced two official events that will take place in Washington D.C. to celebrate clean energy policies, industries, and innovations that power America. The VIP Reception and Dinner and Young Professionals Happy Hour will occur in tandem with the previously-announced Policy Makers Symposium, September 26-30, 2022. Details as follows.
- NCEW VIP Reception & Dinner: On Wednesday, September 28 the NCEW VIP Reception & Dinner will take place from 6:00PM-10:00PM at the Hotel Washington in Washington, D.C. NCEW sponsors, participating organizations, and friends will join congressional staff and federal leaders to celebrate the sixth annual NCEW. More details, including a panel of featured guest speakers, will be announced soon.
Tables for the VIP Reception & Dinner are first offered to official NCEW sponsors. If you are interested in sponsoring NCEW, please visit our Sponsorship Prospectus for more information. If you are interested in purchasing a table or a half table for the VIP Reception & Dinner, please email info@nationalcleanenergyweek.org. Availability is extremely limited.
- Young Professionals Happy Hour: On Thursday, September 29, a happy hour for young professionals (35 and under) and clean energy advocates will occur from 5:00PM-7:00PM at the rooftop bar at Hotel Washington in Washington, D.C. The focus of this event is to encourage collaboration and networking among colleagues in the national clean energy conversation. For more information or to register for the happy hour, visit the Eventbrite here.
These two events expand upon the interactive online programming of the virtual, three-day Policy Makers Symposium to bring in-person networking and collaboration opportunities to NCEW. The Symposium convenes lawmakers, administration officials, experts in domestic and international clean energy policy and industry leaders to share their unique perspectives through engaging panel discussions, fireside chats and keynote addresses.
From Washington D.C. to across the country, clean energy advocates are encouraged to host their own celebrations of clean energy advancements. Groups are encouraged to reach out to the NCEW organizers to promote their events on a new “Community Calendar” which can be viewed on the NCEW website.
