Sixty-Two Governors and Mayors Recognize Clean Energy Week 2024
WASHINGTON – In recognition of the eighth annual National Clean Energy Week (NCEW), sixty-two state and local leaders issued proclamations celebrating September 23-27, 2024, as Clean Energy Week.
“Thank you to the policymakers who issued proclamations this year recognizing Clean Energy Week,” said Heather Reams, chair of NCEW and president of Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Forum. “These leaders, both Republican and Democratic, underscore the critical role clean energy plays in securing America’s future by reducing emissions, driving innovation and creating jobs. They are not only providing their constituents with access to affordable, reliable and clean energy, but they are also ensuring economic growth in their communities.”

NCEW was founded in 2017 as a bipartisan forum to bring together clean energy leaders and advocates across America. The week contains engaging programming such as the Policymakers Symposium – a two-day in person event convening elected officials, business leaders, advocates, policymakers, investors and trade associations from all perspectives who are dedicated to advancing clean energy.
Free video recordings of the 2024 Policymakers Symposium from all the live keynote addresses and panel discussions will be available on-demand on NCEW’s YouTube channel.
