Bob Keefe is Executive Director of E2, a national organization of business leaders who advocate for policies that are good for our economy and our environment. Since joining E2 in 2011, he has grown the organization to more than 12,000 members and supporters nationwide and helped establish it as a leading business voice for the clean economy.
Named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Climate Leaders, Bob has testified before Congress and state legislatures and has been featured in major media outlets including CNN, Fox News, The New York Times and The Washington Post.

He is the author of two books on the economics of climate and clean energy: Climatenomics: Washington, Wall Street, and the Economic Battle to Save Our Planet (2022) and Clean Economy NOW: Stories from the Frontlines of an American Business Revolution (2024).

In addition to his work at E2, Bob serves on the boards of the Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) and the international nonprofit conservation group Nature and Culture International.

Before E2, Bob spent more than 20 years as a journalist covering business, politics, and environmental issues. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
