Gavin Dillingham, PhD, is an Executive Advisor with SLB New Energy, specializing in energy innovation, public policy, and technology commercialization. Over a 25-year career, he has worked across geothermal energy, carbon management, climate resilience, and emerging energy infrastructure, helping organizations navigate the path from research and demonstration to commercial deployment. He partners with federal agencies, national laboratories, policymakers, and industry leaders to advance strategic initiatives and secure funding that accelerates technology adoption. Prior to joining SLB, Gavin held leadership positions at the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC) and helped launch the climate-risk analytics firm Pythias Analytics. He is also a frequent writer and speaker on energy policy, geothermal development, AI-driven data center growth, energy infrastructure, and climate resilience. Gavin holds a PhD from Rice University.
