WASHINGTON – U.S. Senators Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.), and U.S. Representatives Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-Iowa) and Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.) today led the introduction of a bicameral, bipartisan resolution recognizing September 25-29, 2023, as National Clean Energy Week (NCEW). 

“Providing all Americans with affordable, reliable, and clean energy continues to be a priority for policymakers, regardless of party affiliation,” said Heather Reams, chair of NCEW and president of Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Forum. “Thank you, Senators Susan Collins and Maria Cantwell, as well as Representatives Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Lisa Blunt Rochester, for your collaboration in leading this bipartisan, bicameral resolution that celebrates clean energy technology and innovation to reduce emissions, strengthen the economy, and power our modern world.”

Miller-Meeks, M.D. “I am proud to introduce this resolution with Representative Lisa Blunt Rochester to kick off National Clean Energy Week and find solutions, explore various industries, and celebrate the wide range of energy options available right here in the United States.”
